Maintenance Engineer Job Description A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing standard engineering assignments to solve problems and conduct operational studies and research to optimise the production/maintenance process and manage the cost of the operations. Responsibilities: Following all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Implementing the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures Leading and directing the Technicians or Operations teams within the shift to comply with the directions of the Engineering team Monitoring system performance and function after accomplishment of any recommended modification, maintenance task or significant event and special assignment Monitoring all maintenance faults, malfunctions, defects, deferred defects and other occurrences which could affect the continuing operations Analyzing components’ durability and failure trends and prepares preventive maintenance plans. Additionally, analyzing process and requirements and prepares operation plans Providing technical guidance, coaching and support for Technical or Operation teams to ensure individuals are equipped with the necessary skills Monitoring the operating conditions, identifying and responding appropriately to problems, allocating or escalating them as necessary and monitoring and recording their rectification Ensuring compliance of operations under own supervision with the industry standards and requirements or regulating authorities Training subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Operations and Maintenance unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner Complying with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment Skills Technical Support and troubleshooting English Language Knowledge of equipment Cost estimation, analysis, and project management Experience in Pharmaceutical and Food Industries Flexible working during night shifts Education Mechatronics or Electromocanical Job Details Job Location:Amman, Jordan Job Role:Engineering Employment Status:Full time Employment Type:Employee Number of Vacancies:1
